Q: How do AI Shorts credits work? A: One credit equals one minute of video. That's the whole system.
Q: Does the number of shorts change the cost? A: No. A 45-minute video uses 45 credits, however many shorts come out of it — whether that's one, two, or three.

Q: Can I buy more credits? A: Yes, you can buy packs on the web:
- 100 credits for $4.99
- 300 credits for $11.99
- 1,000 credits for $29.99
Q: Do credits roll over? A: Monthly plan credits don't roll over. They reset on your renewal date. So if you're on Creator with 50 credits a month, unused credits from one month don't carry into the next.
Pack credits are different: pack credits don't expire while you're on Creator or Pro.
Q: What if a job fails? A: Failed jobs are always refunded. If a job fails or you cancel it, every credit goes back to your balance. You don't lose credits to a job that didn't produce shorts.

A few numbers, so you can plan:
- A 15-minute video on the free trial: 15 credits — exactly the trial allowance, enough for a 15-minute video.
- A 45-minute stream on Creator: 45 credits, leaving 5 of your 50 monthly credits.
- A 90-minute podcast recording on Pro: 90 credits, leaving 110 of your 200 monthly credits.
- Three 20-minute phone videos on Pro: 60 credits total, leaving 140.
If you're regularly cutting long videos, compare the pack prices against a plan upgrade. A 300-credit pack at $11.99 and a 1,000-credit pack at $29.99 are both cheaper per credit than the 100-credit pack at $4.99 — but only buy what you'll actually use, since plan credits reset each month and packs are the ones that stick around on Creator or Pro.
How long are shorts kept?
Shorts are kept for 30 days. Keep the ones you like, delete the rest, and download the ones you want to keep for good. Stream recordings are also kept for 30 days.
