How to Multistream to Multiple Facebook Pages at Once
Here's a situation that comes up constantly: a church with a main page and a youth ministry page. A restaurant with a page per location. A creator with a personal page and a brand page. They all want the same live video on every Page — without going live three separate times.
Castream handles this cleanly. Each Facebook Page you manage becomes its own destination, and when you go live you just toggle on all the ones you want. One stream, every Page, one tap.
If you've only ever connected a single Page, start with the Facebook Pages guide — this article builds on it.
How it works
There's no special "multi-Page mode." The model is simple: one destination per Page. Connect your main Page, then connect your second Page, then your third. Each shows up as a separate toggle in your destinations list. On stream day, you flip on whichever Pages should carry the broadcast and leave the rest off.
Connect your Pages
You need to be an admin (or at least have live-video permission) on every Page you want to stream to. Then:
- Open the Castream app and go to Settings → Destinations
- Add your first Facebook Page destination and authorize it through Facebook's login
- Pick the Page from the list Facebook shows you, and save it — name it clearly, e.g. Main Page
- Tap Add destination again, choose Facebook Page, and authorize once more
- This time pick your second Page — name it Youth Ministry, Downtown Location, whatever makes it obvious
- Repeat for every Page you manage
A naming tip that saves real confusion later: label each destination exactly how you'll think of it at 7:55 AM before a stream. "FB – Main" and "FB – Youth" beat "Facebook Page" and "Facebook Page (1)" every time.
New to Castream entirely? Creating an account takes a few minutes, and connecting Pages is part of the same setup flow.
Going live to all of them
- Set up your stream in the Castream app as usual
- In the destinations list, toggle ON every Facebook Page you want this broadcast on
- Toggle on any other platforms joining in
- Tap Go Live
Castream sends one feed and Facebook distributes it to each Page you selected. Each Page gets its own post, its own comments, its own reach — your audiences stay separate, which is exactly what you want when the youth group and the main congregation are different crowds.
Tips for managing multiple Pages
Check permissions before stream day, not during. Facebook loves to quietly expire Page authorizations. Open Settings → Destinations the day before an important broadcast and confirm every Page still shows as connected. Re-authorize anything that looks stale.
Comments are per-Page. Someone commenting on the Downtown Location stream won't see replies on the Page — or at minimum the one with the biggest audience.
Mind the notification blast. Going live to five Pages means five sets of followers get a "is live" notification at once. That's usually a feature, not a bug — but if two of your Pages share most of their audience, consider whether both need every stream.
Keep stream titles Page-appropriate. One title goes to all destinations, so write for the broadest audience. Save the inside jokes for the Page-only posts afterward.
Recordings land in one place. No matter how many Pages you hit, Castream saves a single recording to your profile, where you can rewatch it, check the chat stats, or share the link anywhere.
Troubleshooting multi-Page streams
One Page isn't receiving the stream. First, check the toggle — it's embarrassingly easy to think you enabled a Page when you didn't. If the toggle is on, re-check the destination in Settings → Destinations: expired Facebook authorizations are the most common cause. Re-authorize and try again.
Facebook asks me to re-authorize constantly. This usually means the authorization was granted by a Page role without sufficient permissions, or Facebook flagged the connection. Have a full Page admin re-authorize the destination.
The stream is live on one Page but not the other. Each Page's stream is independent once it leaves Castream. Check the quiet Page's own live dashboard on Facebook — sometimes the video is arriving but Facebook hasn't published the post yet, especially on Pages with posting restrictions.
One more thing: there's no real limit here. Two Pages, five Pages — if Facebook lets you go live to it and Castream can connect it, it can be a toggle. Set it up once on a calm afternoon and your Sunday-morning routine becomes exactly one button.
